Worth to mention about the upset in a game betweenCaguas (8-10) and Leonas (5-13), which took place in Ponce. 6th ranked Caguas were outleveled in a road game by ninth ranked Leonas 94-74 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Caguas. They outrebounded Caguas 44-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Leonas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for who led her team to a victory with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-2002, college: USC, agency: Next Page Sports) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Kaela Hilaire (157-1998, college: Stony Brook) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Lyannis Torres (173-1996) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Caguas. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Leonas maintains ninth position with 5-13 record. Caguas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the sixth place with ten games lost.
